Erectile dysfunction is one of those things that many men would rather suffer in silence about than open up about. If you’ve come this far and decided to look for ED pills online, though, you’ve no doubt heard of SKYN, a condom company that now also makes pills for erectile dysfunction, pills that are known as SKYN Arise.
Yep, you heard that right – a condom company that now makes ED pills. Like you, I was intrigued and so decided to test them out to see whether they actually work at giving a man a harder, longer lasting erection. Here’s what I learned …
Why I Wanted to Review SKYN Arise
A quick bit of background about me: I’m a 35-year-old male recently diagnosed with ED. At first, I refused to even acknowledge I had it, so treatment was definitely out of the question. But once my girlfriend finally decided enough was enough and broke up with me, I knew I had to face up to it.
After looking for ED pills online, I came across SKYN Arise, which is an offshoot of SKYN condoms.
To get started, you have to pop yourself online, create a profile and then answer a number of questions regarding your symptoms and medical history. This Q&A took a tad longer than I’d have liked, but because I knew it was necessary, I cracked on. I did also like the discreet, online nature of things, although this is what many ED companies do these days.
Then, I received an online consultation with a medical practitioner who gave me my personalised treatment plan. All I had to do next was complete my order. For the sake of this review, I ordered both SKYN Arise and SKYN Arise Elite (which are more expensive, but which are also meant to produce a longer lasting erection).
A few days later, the packages arrived. More on the design of the packages soon, but what I’ll say for now is that the packaging made me feel pretty good about the product. It looked beautiful and I thought it was just the thing I needed to help me get my erection back.
Does SKYN Arise Get You Hard?
It does – but it’s not great.
On the day I was going to have sex with my girl, I popped my first SKYN Arise tablet. It didn’t taste of much. About 30 minutes later, I felt sexually aroused enough – but my erection wasn’t super duper hard. I got it up enough to have penetrative sex, but it didn’t last long enough, and there definitely wasn’t any chance of Round 2.
We did wait a while longer to give SKYN the benefit of the doubt, but still not much doing. After two hours, I was left just as frustrated and embarrassed as when I’d been initially diagnosed with ED. The fact that I couldn’t go again after coming was kinda disappointing as I know some guys have taken ED pills before and been able to do Round 2 and Round 3.
I then took a tablet the next day and tried it with masturbation, but the results weren’t much better. Again I got it up, but it wasn’t as firm or anywhere near and long lasting as I’d have liked.
And as we all know, firmness is key.
A week later, I decided to test SKYN Arise Elite, which is meant to help you get a harder erection for up to 24 hours. While SKYN Arise Elite did do a better job of getting me hard enough to have sex in the first place, it again didn’t keep me hard enough for long. I got a firm erection for about four hours, which left me and my girlfriend a tad frustrated. I mean, we enjoyed the sex and I’m appreciative of that, but the value for money seemed a bit off.
Review of The Pricing And Dosage
Subscriptions start out from $24 a month, but climb to as much as $120 for the SKYN Arise Elite pills. If you want your pills delivered within 2 days (and most probably will), you have to pay a $10 shipping charge, which some will might as a bit steep.
On the other hand, if you want them delivered the very next day, you have to pay a $34 shipping charge. First class mail is free, though, so it’s not all bad.
In terms of the dosage, you can order SKYN Arise tablets that contain 25mg of Sildenafil (the main ingredient in Viagra). That might not be enough for a lot of guys, especially when you consider that some brands offer dosages up to 100mg.
However, you can upgrade to SKYN Arise Elite, where a single tablet contains 5mg of Tadalafil. This is the key ingredient in Cialis, and it stays in your bloodstream for as long as 24 hours.
Plenty of Style – But Not Much Substance
If I can give a thumbs up to SKYN about something, it’s their clever – heck, even sophisticated – self-erecting packaging.
SKYN are well aware that many men with erectile dysfunction feel anxious about their condition. The anxiety can take such a strong root that many men won’t even seek treatment for ED, and will instead struggle in silence, perhaps hoping it will go away.
It’s for this reason that SKYP partnered up with design agency Sid Lee Paris to create a stylish packaging that is “always up.”
As Jeyan Heper, CEO of LifeStyles, of which SKYN is a part of, put it: “We felt the erectile enhancement space was a missing link in offering a holistic intimate experience. We thought about the way erectile dysfunction is usually approached and wanted to push boundaries on how we package the product and normalise the condition.
“SKYN Arise was born out of the desire to be a disruptive force in our industry, and so we created a cool, always-up package for our ED medication – something that visually demonstrates what men are after.”
The packaging does help to dispel any complex you normally associate with ED. When mine arrived in the mail, I was quite taken by its sleek appearance. It didn’t look like a box of pills for erectile dysfunction. In fact, it didn’t look like a box of bills at all. Instead, it looked more like a fashion accessory. I must admit, it made me feel good – even confident – about using the product.
There’s a lot been made about SKYN Arise’s stylish, self-erecting packaging. But while teaming up with Sid Lee Paris was good PR and naturally meant the packaging looked great, the big question is whether the medication actually makes much of a difference to a man struggling with erectile dysfunction.
In short, I felt as though SKYN had put too much effort into creating a beautiful package and had sold themselves a bit short when it came to the actual product. No man alive is going to be satisfied if an ED pill looks great but doesn’t work as well as it should. That’s like a woman appreciating a flaccid penis and doesn’t care if it gets erect or not. It’s not the real world.
Skyn Arise Review Conclusion
Ultimately, SKYN Arise looks great but if I could recommend anything by the brand, it would be the SKYN condoms. Use them in partnership with a cheaper generic viagra, such as BlueChew, and you’ll be able to enjoy a great night of sex with an erection that doesn’t let you down.
